“So, building that community is something I have felt really called to do for the past year or so now. We want to move towards creating environments that empower and support each barista and how they can even empower their own shops.”

I love home. I love Atlanta. Moving away from Atlanta and moving back has shown me how much this city means to me, what the coffee community there means to me. And even though it is a really saturted market in the specialty world right now, I think that one thing this city can do a lot better is build a greater community.

So, building that community is something I have felt really called to do for the past year or so now. We want to move towards creating environments that empower and support each barista and how they can even empower their own shops.

They create the most healthy work enviromnents possible. For when not seeing that next step to suddenly being in a room with Pete Licata giving a lecture with slides on how to navigate your career from the platform that you have and the tools you've been given is something that only Glitter Cat's ever offered me, after years and years in the barista community.
